Yesterday we distributed close to 200 newsletters outside the Oakland County Court House is Michigan on Family Court Motion Day. Our newsletter featured articles about pending family law legislation in the State of Michigan, provided educational information about requesting specific parenting time, and generally lambasted the family law bar over their contribution to the industry of family destruction. We are already seeing results of our efforts through new contacts and inquiries. There is much more to come.

Oakland County is 2nd largest county in Michigan and the 31st most populous county in the United States. In many such populous counties such as Oakland, family law litigants queue up in the morning for the cattle call and it is possible within an hour's time to reach hundreds of parents outside the courthouse who are enbroiled in cases while waiting to pass through the security check point.

This activity is one of hundreds we have planned here in Michigan and we would like to share with you some of the resources we used and induct you into our collective efforts both here in Michigan and in other state jurisdictions. The newsletter was literally put together overnight and it could use a little wordsmithing and refinement before we make additional use of it and create new versions. If you have eye for proofreading or can offer suggestions or refinements please share your thoughts. In return we will make the editable file and resources we used available to the wider community of family law reform activists.
